Original Walt Disney Productions One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the family fantasy adventure, PETE'S DRAGON (1977) starring Sean Marshall, Helen Reddy, Jim Dale, Mickey Rooney, Red Buttons, and Shelley Winters. This poster is for a 1984 re-release of the film from the Disney Studio. In this combination of live action and animation, Pete (Marshall) is a nine-year-old boy who attempts to escape his brutal adoptive parents with his only friend, a dragon named Elliott. Winters and Dale in their roles as the abusive parents are classic kiddie villains. Winters stomps through her scenes in a bluster of hilarious kookiness, and Dale is most memorable in his deliciously maniacal portrayal. The film was nominated for two Academy Awards: Best Original Score and Best Original Song. This original 1984 re-release one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition
