Based on the first novel of Bret Easton Ellis, the film tells the story of three high school friends. Good times, bad times. The film doesn't bear too much resemblance to the Easton book, and the author expressed dissatisfaction with it. The film received mixed reviews and the young audience for which it was intended didn't take too much of a shine to it.
