Relaxing in its understated rose gold bezel setting is a 1.74 carat Imperial Topaz with strong pleochroism and beautiful fire. It's the flashy star of the trio of OOAK Topaz we acquired as a set; a clean, well-cut gem, with reddish orange color and lovely pleochroism*. When tilted, it can display a pale orange, sometimes an orangey-yellow; but the face up view is usually as seen in the images: a vivid brownish orange to vivid reddish orange with pleochroic edges. We've handforged this setting of solid 14k rose gold; it has companion rings which can be seen in some of the images (Precious Topaz stacking bezel rings, available separately).

This gem measures 6.9 x 5.1 mm. We've created its setting by hand, without casting, in a size 6. The band is slim (1.2mm); please size yourself snugly, as it will go on easily. Complimentary resizing is available prior to delivery (please let us know your size at checkout).


Topaz is a moderately hard gem, but as with all colored gems, avoid knocks and blows. You can apply gentle cleaning practices to this ring ... brush with a very soft (baby) toothbrush, using lukewarm water, and a baby soap as needed.
