How to nurse your shoes? FSJ suggest:
1.If the shoes are new, do not force when you put them on, or use a shoehorn. When you take them off, do not step on the heel otherwise you may damage it.
2.Using too much shoe oil during the care process is definitely not a good thing for the shoes. On the contrary, oil excess will not be absorbed by the leather, the shoe will get wet and will be damaged.
3.It is advised to wear leather shoes only every other day. After being worn a whole day, the shoes will be wet which is why after getting home, it is advised to let the shoes dry in a dark place to avoid proliferation of any bacteria, just to let them breath.
4.When you do not wear the shoes, clean them with a clean rag or a bristle brush. After that, put a shoe tree into them to avoid leather distortion. If you do not have any shoe tree, you can also use paper balls.
