Weller's Eoceann was produced from 1898 through sometime between 1915-1918. It is most often found in a shaded gray background but upon rare occasion you will find a piece in shades of pink, green, blue or yellow. The most collectible Eocean forms are the highly decorated and artist signed. Here we have a fine example of a 7 inch tall Eocean bottle vase with hand painted red rose. This is stamped WellerWare on the bottom. This piece is not artist signed but is wonderfully executed. Outstanding vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze, no repairs, but has crazing. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process.
