These are HEAVY DUTY, NO-NONSENSE mounts that can easily support 25-35 pounds if mounted properly (These mounts will hold MUCH more weight, but its up to YOU as to how you mount them and how secure they are.). These mounts are Bead Blast finished "one at a time" and painted a flat black for a rustic look with countersunk mounting holes for a secure and professional installation. Each hook is felt lined to protect against abrasion and scratching of your firearm. The felt is a HEAVY DUTY black felt that is thick enough to prevent abrasion, but thin enough to not take up too much space inside the hook area (It is NOT foam or rubber like some of the other stuff out there.). I make these one at a time by hand, so please do not expect "laser cut" parts or precision. However, these are excellent quality and will last a lifetime with proper care. These mounts are not "offset", meaning that if your gun has protrusions such as a charging handle, bolt action, side mounted scope, or anything of that nature, your gun may not fit properly. This size mount will easily hold most pump shotguns, over and under shotguns, most lever action rifles, and most side by side shotguns up to 12 Gauge comfortably.
