The higher the linen percentage, the more durable the fabric is and the easier to keep clean, since linen is highly dirt repellent.

All of our fabrics are 100% natural and thus offer high moisture absorption and breathability. They are all soft to the touch but not overly soft as fabrics that have been chemically treated.

We make the cover of the cushion zippered (along one of the long sides), but since tufting is what keeps the wool inside in place it goes through the entire item and to take off the cover for washing you need to snip the tufts. We can add inner lining (of a lightweight 100% cotton fabric) to more easily take out the wool all at once to wash the cover when necessary. You'll still need to snip the tufts to remove the insert but it is much easier than having to take the wool out bit by bit. Lining will add $27. You can choose between piped and non-piped edges for design.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
A wool seating cushion should be rotated once a week in the first two months (top to toe and side to side) to distribute the wear evenly. After this period it is advisable to flip it once a month.
Once a year, on a sunny day, allow it to air out (sun has a natural cleaning ability).
Stains should be treated using a solution of one part white vinegar to three parts water and then air-dried completely, in sunlight if possible.

The wool fibers are in various natural colors and have the natural odor of sheep, which will be gone in a couple of months.
