A longer lever body gives you more leverage to work with, further enhancing the feel and ease of shifting. The internal mechanism has been completely redesigned for consistently stable shifting that will shift perfectly every time, and require none of the odd little "nudges" to get the chain into gear. This is coupled with an all-new shift cable and house with hyper low-friction coatings. Finally, for that nice little touch, the levers both have anti-slip coating to ensure your thumbs always stay where they need to be, in even the wettest conditions.
