How to Care for a Human Hair Wig
Properly care of your hairpiece will keep it looking enjoyable and healthy and new as long as possible.
Washing:
1. Make sure the hair is tangles free, and there are no knots anywhere
2. Soak the hair gently with mild conditioning shampoo in cool or lukewarm water, gently pat and stroke it onto the hair, DO NOT rub it in
3. Rinse the shampoo out using only the lukewarm water stream and NOT your hands or brushes towards to the same direction
4. Remove the excess water with a dry towel, brush the hair gently in a downward from top to end with a wide-toothed comb
5. Lay flat the hair and leave the wig to natural air dry
Storing:
The better way is stored on a wig stand or mannequin, in a paper box or a plastic bag with a hair net. Please note wigs should be placed in a cool dry space
When traveling, a styled wig may be carried in a wig box to prevent flattening
