It seems the older I get the more I'm attracted to the color purple, so when I contemplated what to do with the beautiful lead free raw pewter B'sue by 1928 large heart pendant I decided a deep rich purple would be just the thing. It was soaked in Swellegant violet dye oxide and brushed with just a touch of silver gilders paste to bring out some of the detail. The chain is rhodium plated vintage loop and link.
