Annie's designed this with a v-neckline, a button-front bodice, ¾-length sleeves and a skirt that's asymmetric and double-layered. The top layer of the skirt comes to points at the front/back centers and the shortest lengths are at each hip. The underneath layer is straight and full-length. Made up in a crinkle rayon that's wrinkle-resistant and a silky, soft pleasure to wear. It has the right weight, substance and flow to enhance the design. So sure, this is a basic black dress, in the sense that you can wear it for all sorts of occasions. And transform it into any number of different looks by adjusting the accessories.
