This beautiful Maple slab has figure along both natural edges and is a great shape for a dining table or headboard. There are some gorgeous areas of burl, curl, and spalting! This slab has several bark inclusions adding to its character; you will see them best in the front image. There are some smaller bark inclusions on the left and right sides and a larger bark inclusion in the center of the lower portion of this piece. Be sure to take notice of the small light colored areas toward the center of the slab and scattered along the length; these are softer areas where there was some early decay in the log.
