The kit is built atop a fiberglass hull with full rubbing strip and port detail. Computer generated printed plastics form the main tank deck and basic superstructure along with the 1mm plastic deck. All complex parts are vacuum formed in 1mm plastic, like the bridge, boat, motor mounting and nicads tray. The kit comes with a complete set of cast metal fittings which include detailed parts such as weapons and deck mounts. Brass etched items include Ladders and stanchions . Items like lockers, floats, and gun bases are made of plastic castings. The propeller shaft is made of stainless steel and encased in a brass tube.
