2009 Indian Summer Indian Awards Nominee in the Native Spirit Catagory Harry Seavey is a 'Native Spirit' who studied the Native American Flute under master flute-maker Odell Borg of High Spirits Flutes. He has been playing, teaching and performing for 12 years throughout Arizona, California, Nevada and Colorado. Harry's first CD 'Endless Beginnings', released in 2007, was enthusiastically reviewed and is offered at store locations throghout the Soutwest. The album received the award nomination in the Native Spirit Category at the 2008 Indian Summer Music Awards. His second CD 'Footsteps' was released September 2008. A seasoned instructor, Harry has conducted flute classes since 1999. His performances at charitable events such as VA Hospitals and Hospice Centers have brough comfort to many of the residents. Through teaching, and the example of his great love for the flute, Harry has brought many to play music for the first time in their lives.
