One of my all-time favourite movies that I cannot get tired of watching, Forrest Gump not only introduce me to the crisp, clean pair of Nike Cortez as a kid, but it also taught me a lot of things in life, from pursuing what you love to do, to showing what unconditional love can be.

In the movie, Jenny meant the world to Forrest, even though the sentiment is not reciprocated back to him. Despite all that, he still cares loves her unconditionally. This shoe symbolized that aspect of their relationship, as Jenny gave Forrest a pair as a gift, and later on ran in it for three years across the States.
