Forbidden Planet is a 1956 Science Fiction film that is the first to depict humans traveling amongst the universe in a Starship of our own creation. It was also the first film to be portrayed entirely on another interstellar planet. It is considered one of the greatest and most influential Sci-Fi movies of all time.
