This is the bracelet style known as a hand flower or slave bracelet. It consists of a bracelet around the wrist, and a matching band across the top of the hand attaching to a ring which traditionally goes around the middle finger. The ring is adjustable to fit any size finger and has a grouping of flowers on top along with a pair of the traditional round bells. The part which goes over the hand and around the wrist consists of a row of flower sections joined at each corner so the whole moves freely. The bracelet section is joined with a sturdy hook and eye, but can be tightened by attaching the hook to a flower loop instead of the end loop if you prefer. Wearing a hand flower can impart a feeling of greater sensuality to the dancer, and make her more conscious of the movements of her hands.
