Relaxed the curly part of this cord is about 14 inches long, NOT 9 FEET. It is called a 9 foot cord because 9 feet of material goes into the curling machine. This naming scheme is confusing but it's the standard. 9 feet will be long enough for a cubicle or average desk. We have the 12 foot version in the store..
This cord works on nearly any phone made in the last 30+ years. It uses the standard 4P4C (4 pin 4 conductor) connector which is also called RJ9, RJ10 & RJ22. Do not use it between the phone and the wall jack. The wall jack is 6 or 8 pins wide. It would provide a loose, noisy connection.Color: Dark grey. It looks well and works well with the Inter-Tel Axxess line as well as many other phones. Style: Long lead / tail. One end of this cord has no curl for about the last 5 or 6 inches. It is a lot easier to get it into the grooves on the backs of certain model phones. Color: This cord matches at least some of the Polycom IP phones. See the attached picture showing it against a model IP321. I do not have any others to compare against. .
