This little glass dome features the Enchanted Rose from the movie Beauty and the Beast, with five fallen petals.

Everything in this glass dome is hand sculpted out out Polymer clay, and hand painted with acrylic paints. The acrylic paints have been infused with a multi purpose sealer for added protection.

Over the top of the acrylic paint are multiple layers of matte varathane polyurethane. Which is a sealent that when cured is moisture, scratch, and fade resistant. It acts as a protective coating for the item.

Across the bottom of the antique bronze base, is a layer of resin. Which is a two part casting liquid, and when mixed together will cure and turn into a hard crystal clear plastic. This is used to encapsulate the base of the stem, to ensure that it will not detach. It also adds a beautiful shine.

The five fallen petals are then secured on top of the fully cured resin.

The dome is made out of blown glass, and sets on top of an antique bronze base.

The glass dome is 1 1/2 in. tall and 1 in. in diameter, and the glass dome is sealed on with E600 industrial strength adhesive.

You may order the dome by itself as is, with an attached loop on the top, or as a necklace.

If you want the dome without the loop, it will not have the antique bronze loop at the top. This option is for setting on a shelf, desk, or display case.

If you want to order this dome with a loop attachment, it will come with an antique bronze loop reinforced on the top of the dome using the same E600 industrial strength adhesive.

If you would like the dome as a necklace, it will come on an antique bronze link chain.
With your requested length of 18, or 20 in.

There will be an antique bronze lobster hook at the end of the chain to clasp the necklace.

Each Enchanted Rose in a Glass Dome is made to order, so there may be slight variations from the pictures shown above.

To clean and care for:
The dome is made of glass, so dusting cloth will do for the outside.
Please remember that this is a handmade object and everything inside is made up of polymer clay. So please try to avoid leaving in extreme heat for extended periods of time, or take with you into water, and not intended for small children.
