The Continental ContiTech F5 Blue TPE pneumatic hose is a hybrid thermoplastic hose manufactured for a variety of pneumatic applications where resistance to oil and cold is necessary. Its tube and blue cover are both made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which is non-marking, both durable and flexible, and resistant to oil. Both components are rated Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) Class B, which means that they will undergo a maximum volume change of +65% and will retain a minimum of 50% of their tensile strength after exposure to oil. This hose is reinforced with polyester yarn for strength, is capable of functioning effectively at temperatures ranging from -40 to +158 degrees F (-40 to +70 degrees C), and can be used with a variety of coupling options (sold separately).
