The defense includes an ortholite insole that cushions the foot for all day comfort, and can be removed and washed to mitigate odor. The upper, made with 1000 denier padded DWR nylon, adds strength and durability without weight. Protection extends to the top of the boot, where a fully gusseted and waterproof tongue repels moisture and debris.
