Claire Kern Creations signed runway statement necklace featuring an acrylic 5" Octopus with hand set glass eyes, sparkly rhinestone chains, crown and crystal bow. It sits atop a big white "great scallop" genuine seashell. Pendants and charms are a crystal frog, a genuine Betsey Johnson mermaid and crystal snail, a hand painted vintage fish, a vintage seahorse, a pink striped fish charm and a pink carved cats eye glass dolphin. Gemstone beads are white quartz, white carved alabaster, pink magnesite and pink agate. Other 6 beads with inset gold patterns are Indonesian. This is a sturdy necklace and large pendant, suitable for any fun occasion. These necklaces are entered into contests for runway shows. Runway designs have to be big and bold so that they can be seen from a distance, sturdy in case the model falls or it is handled carelessly in the frenzy of those shows. I was a fashion designer for 10 years and designed both the clothing and accessories. I learned to make everything very tough whether in a show or not. Of course, I do recommend careful handling.
