SafePro's SP4848L-G Roof Hatch Safety Rail is designed to fit standard roof hatches with an interior opening of 48" x 48" and an exterior(curb) dimension of approx. 51.75" x 51.75". It is non-penetrating so it will not void any rooftop warranty. Made from 100% steel, it is finished with a Hot Dipped Galvanized finish for maximum weather resistance. The gate is a gravity fed self closing gate, with a spring assist, and hinged on the left hand side as you are exiting the roof hatch. The gate also doubles as 2 additional ladder rungs to provide means for an upright and safe exit and entry through the roof hatch. This rail is 4 sided for supreme rigidity. Installs in 30 minutes or less.
