This is an early 1920s party dress made of the most gorgeous, red, panne velvet! has the late teens / very early 20s styling of a drop from bib over a hook and eye lining. It has layers of ruffles that make up the skirt and the sleeves! It has its original label from a dressmaker's shop in Philadelphia!
This lovely red, panne velvet, party dress is stunning but, needs a little TLC ! See the condition report below the measurements!

The lining on the underbust is 34" but could be made bigger when new lining is put in.
The drop bib front has a bust of up to 36"

Condition; The outer velvet dress is in excellent condition with only one repair to one shoulder. This is nearly invisible, on a seam, but could be made perfect if it was done with non faded thread.

The silk inner lining is shattering and needs to be replaced. Listing Price reflects this.

The rest of the lining and dress is in excellent condition.


While all the items I sale are wearable, they are 50 years, or more, old and require more delicate handling and care.
