Although not for complete beginners, the pattern is not too complicated as the socks are knitted flat (not in the round) and charts are given for the jacquard pattern.

Size: the socks are 'regular' fit but the length of the foot is fully adaptable to fit from 6" to 10.75". The fit round the thigh is slim fit - size approx 14 inches round the top of the socks.

Materials:
total of 9 x 50g balls sport weight yarn
(4 in red, 2 in violet, 1 in blue, 1 in pink, 1 in green)
US needles no. 2 and 4 (2.75mm and 3.5mm)
plus one circular needle or 2 double ended needles in size 4
