ABOUT RH ART
RH Art is specialized original and natural handicraft, such as tie dye(shibori), woodblock printing, embroidery and Chinese traditional painting. We advocate an aesthetic way of life from the following aspects: its natual beauty , its harmonious beauty, its living beauty.
ABOUT TIE DYE(we call it as Shibori)
It has been practiced since at least the 8th century. Shibori includes a number of labor-intensive resist techniques including stitching elaborate patterns and tightly gathering the stitching before dyeing, forming intricate designs for kimonos. Another shibori method is to wrap the fabric around a core of rope, wood or other material, and bind it tightly with string or thread. The areas of the fabric that are against the core or under the binding would remain undyed.
ABOUT WOODBLOCK PRINTING
Woodblock printing is a technique for printing text, images or patterns originating in China. Ukiyoe is the best known type of Japanese woodblock art print. Most European uses of the technique for printing images on paper are covered by the art term woodcut.
