The Athens collection has always offered both comfort and stability. The comfort comes from the polyurethane AMP LT insole. Polyurethane insoles are thicker than conventional insoles and the AMP LT has the added benefit of being topped with memory foam. Memory foam conforms to the shape of your foot and cushions each step. It's unlikely that you will find a more stable platform than this men's oxford. This shoe is completely non-metallic and the Anchor Disk shank is TPU. The Anchor Disk is much wider than traditional steel shanks and will protect more of the underside of your foot as you work. This premium shoe has been built with a combined cement and stitchdown construction. This construction is extremely durable because the outsole is still stitched to the upper; it is also still pretty flexible because part of the outsole is attached with cement construction. The rubber outsoles on these boots are oil and slip-resistant and are ready to work.
