I have one of these and I use it as a nursery cover, as a backpack or side bag for when out at other peoples homes for the kids to play on , when time to go just pick up toys and all and go with out leaving a mess or lost toys.

THE STORY BEHIND THE TEXTILE:
The Maya traditional treadle loom is used to weave cotton fabrics, scarves, corte (skirt) fabric, among other textiles. Introduced by the Spanish and usually operated by men, the loom is foot powered and no electricity is used.

Handwoven fabric from Guatemala often known as Jaspe or Ikat is a tie and dye method. It involves the binding and dyeing of yarns prior to weaving to create patterns with marbled or blurred design.

Fabric is 34"-35" wide. This characteristic is found only in fabrics made before the 1930's when the industry's standard began to change to the 44" wide we know today.

Due to its handmade nature some irregularities may occur. Guatemalan textiles may fade over time just as any other 100% cotton fabric so it's best to keep them away from direct sunlight.

CARE: Machine wash cold. Delicate cycle. Wash with like colors. Do not bleach. Lay flat to dry or tumble dry low. Medium iron when needed.
