UPDATED Review: After only a few months after purchasing my second one, the white wooden part fell off into my hand leaving just a chain to try to find and pull. Very disappointed.

My original review: I bought 2 of these spaced a few years apart. I bought to replace the strings that attach to the florescent lights in my closets and found the strings are hard to find in the dark and/or are flimsy and break. This has a nice heavy feel to it and is easy to find in a dark closet. It has a solid feel to it and turns light on and off without fear that the chain will will break. I would buy again if needed.
