Used to repair fuel leak from original oil pressure relief valve on a 2006 F450 6.0. The bonus was the improved performance from the increased fuel pressure. Kit was as described and easy to install.
Even though this was advertised as the fomoco direct replacement I have had nothing but problems with it since install. Even during install. The o ring for the fuel inlet was too large and would not seat causing it to dislodge. Fortunately I had a spare one. Then after install pressure was everywhere from 50 all the way up to 77 psi. The high pressures caused leaks between the cap and base. Additionally it sticks open dumping pressure and shuddering between 25 and 35 psi. When it does this, it causes a horrific screeching because it's hammering the fuel pump. Would I buy again? Absolutely not. Buy fomoco and be done
Fuel PSI Before install-41PSI After install-above 100 PSI (my gauge only reads to 100 PSI and the needle was as far over as it would go) Anything above 85PSI has a risk of damaging your injectors which are about $250 each. From the good reviews I read before buying I’m assuming they do not have a way to measure fuel pressure and only noticed the increase in throttle response. The measly $50-$80 you save buying this cheap knock off isn’t worth the thousands it could cost you in the long run.
