So I have several sets of these to light up under shelves in a display unit. The best part is that they are extremely bright and you can use one remote for several sets of them! They can be turned on and off manually, or set to use the remote. We bought rechargeable batteries and those were worth the money, they last far longer and we aren't tossing 3 batteries (per light) out! Truly love these, getting more for other areas like inside the closet shelves, laundry room cabinets etc.

Initially, liked mine as path thru to the exit; bought 7 more for our kids' homes. Since, have discovered batt's lose power WITHOUT usage! Periodically must replace 3 AAs in each of 4 devices w/o benefit of light. Back to ZERO re security; plus, I pounded my $$ right down that rathole, didn't I--👎
