Product Description
The Comfort Plush Twin Airbed is a part of the Dura-Beam series of airbeds that are providing amazing durability for years of lasting comfort. The secret is in the Fiber-Tech beam construction, which is comprised of thousands of high-strength polyester fibers that provide enhanced comfort, stability and support. Each bed is covered in plush flocking that is soft to the touch, and the horizontal air chambers provide added stability and support around the entire bed. The mattress is also equipped with a quality-tested, 20.8-gauge waterproof flocked top with 15-gauge vinyl beams and 16-gauge sides and bottom for durability. And best of all, the Comfort Plush mattress is remarkably easy to inflate thanks to the built-in, high-powered electric pump, which does its job in a mere 3-1/2 minutes. No more fussing with tiring hand or foot pumps or rummaging through the garage for your detached electric pump. And should the mattress feel a little too soft or firm, you can customize the comfort level with the touch of a button. The Comfort Plush is raised 13 inches from the floor, making it taller than most inflatable mattresses. And at 39 by 13 by 75 inches (W x H x L), the mattress is an official Twin size, making it a good fit for fitted sheets. The Comfort Plush Twin bed--which offers a capacity of 300 pounds--is a terrific choice whether you're sleeping at the in-law's overcrowded house or setting up a guest bed in the basement. The mattress comes with an AC power cord and a duffel bag (for storage). Regarding Inflation: Measurements will vary based on the manner in which it is inflated and packaging disclaims “approximate size”. Airbeds are measured from the widest point including the beams (bulges) on the side and off the tallest point from the floor including built-in pillows if applicable. Location, temperature, and humidity will affect the airbed’s firmness. Airbeds will need to be occasionally re-inflated (topped off) to maintain desired firmness when used for more than a few days as vinyl tends to relax over time.

The air mattress continued to perform well until today when it failed to hold pressure. It has been the best performers of all the mattresses I've tried. Unfortunately, this air mattress appears to have been discontinued.
Kudos to Intex for producing a great air mattress. (Boo for discontinuing it)
UPDATE 4/11/16
The air mattress is about 7 months old and continues to be an excellent performer. It has no leaks and rarely has to be topped off. It shows no signs of wear even though I have used it daily. I find it comfortable and one of the few mattresses of any type that my back degenerative disk disease will tolerate. I continue to recommend this mattress, especially for individuals with lower back pain.
================================
Correction: The bottom of the air mattress is not flocked, it has a textured surface to mitigate slipage.
=================================
My experience with prior Intex air mattresses has lead me to delay this review until 90 days usage has passed. The mattress was received on time and in good condition. The packaging gave great protection to the mattress and the package showed no signs of damage.
It's height when inflated stands about 14“at the corner. It has a built-in inflation /deflation pump that is easy to operate but do not have an automatic fill pump (to date, I have not found this to be a limitation) . As with most vinyl mattresses, this mattress had to be adjusted by adding small amounts of air each night for only a few times to compensate for initial stretching.
The mattress is grey in color and is flocked on all sides. The foot print is slightly enlarged at the base. This makes for a stable foundation with no tendency to slip, slide or roll. I use a foam topper and a mattress pad to protect the top surface and to give a slight pillow top feel. I believe vinyl mattresses fail when ones body weight is concentrated on a small area and rotated like on a knee, elbow or backside. I think this puts great stresses on interior panels that act as stabilizers and sets up an area for future failure. I have determined this by doing a post mortem on several failed mattresses.
To date, this twin air mattress has shown to be of superior construction and stands up to daily use. It handles a loading of 210 lbs with ease and It's price makes for an exceptional value. It deflates with ease for quick storage which is about 1 sqft.
I recommend this air mattress and I would purchase it again.
I inflated it at home for about half a day, as the manual says it will stretch the first time or so you use it. It didn't really help to do this in advance, as I'm sure the stretching requires the weight of a person. I topped off the air twice during a 2-night camping trip. Otherwise, it held up excellent and held air all night.
It feels thick and sturdy. The seams seem to be of good quality. The material on top feels soft, almost like felt. You won't stick to it and it helps make it a little breathable. I still suggest putting a sheet or sleeping bag between you and the air mattress, but you could get away without one if needed. The bottom is tougher and designed for ruggedness not comfort. It isn't likely to tear easily. It comes with a patch kit.
My dog has very strong, sharp nails and he walked all over this with no issue, although I wouldn't recommend repeating that test.
Pros:
Very comfortable
Inflates easily with built-in air pump
Inflates to a nice firm feel
Very affordable compared with similar products
Includes oversized carry bag, which makes it "somewhat easier" to get it back in the bag after use
Easy to deflate with electric pump's reverse (deflate) mode
Ability to inflate with manual pump via access holle in pump mechanism if no electricity is available
Cons:
Can be a little challenging to fold up and store in included bag, but with a little practice it gets easier.
The built in air pump is loud when inflating. If camping, I recommend you do this before the wee hours of the night, so as not to disturb your fellow campers.
