My son saw these boots at the local tractor store and just had to have them. They are true Carhartt quality and look very nice. I promised to try to have them for him for Christmas. But being the "price has to be right" mom that I am, I refused to pay full retail (they were really expensive)! So, came home and got on the computer and checked with Amazon, didn't really expect to find the same boots, but guess what, there they were and for a price that I could afford! He has been wearing them nearly everyday since Christmas and they still look great. He claims they are very comfortable and they clean up easily. Yes, I would recommend these boots and recommend checking with Amazon first before buying locally. When we purchased they offered free returns.

He has difficulty finding steel toe that are comfortable all day, but these did the trick. The shaft of the boot is wide enough so that he can tuck his jeans inside, but narrow enough to wear under straight leg or boot cut jeans, too. The color is darker than pictured, but we actually liked it better. All in all, a great work boot that I would recommend.

these are well made boots i had a pair for a couple years but needed a new pair i went to the store and tried on to see what size i needed but then when i ordered that size on here because they were a lot cheaper, they were too big. If gotten in the right size they would be great boots and last forever but like i said they don't fit like the ones in the store unless of coarse maybe i got one that was tagged wrong or something.
