VIVOSUN 1000 Watt High Pressure Sodium HPS Grow Light Bulb

High PAR Enhanced Red and Orange Spectrums

VIVOSUN HPS grow light bulb can produce a very balanced and efficient spectrum for plant growth. VIVOSUN HPS lamps have higher luminous efficiency than ordinary bulbs, and they have stronger penetrating power and long service life. It emits a red and orange spectrum that is among the most energy-efficient sources of indoor lighting and extends the growing season. It can be used through the vegetative, flowering and fruiting stages, and the yellow spectral output makes them optimal for flowering.

  • Please be aware that grow light bulb is a consumable product. Regardless of HPS, MH, LED, Fluorescent or the incandescent light bulb, the fact that the total lumen (brightness) will decrease in time.
  • For an optimized growing condition, it is strongly recommended to change your grow light bulb after 12 months of continuous use.
  • Note: The trigger voltage of our ballast is 7000V, and output frequency is 100K. If your ballast cannot reach the standard, then our bulb cannot be lighted up.

HPS bulb compatible with electronic and magnetic ballasts

  • VIVOSUN dimmable electronic digital ballast is the best choice for high pressure sodium grow light lamps.
  • The dimmable setting of ballast should be the same watts as the bulb when starting, or your bulb may not be lighted up. The extra setting is to adjust the brightness (lumen) of the bulb. Different lumens have different effect on the plants.
  • The ballast can't ignite lamps when it is hot. When reigniting the lamp after shutting down, please wait several minutes to give time for the lamp to cool down.

This is a 55 day old girl grown along side 6 others under just 1 Vivosun MH bulb. She is ready to take about 30 clones and run a sea of green. Vivosun has been a go to company for me for a while now when it comes to growing. And like usual, their bulbs are no surprise amazing. I used to pay $60 each for Hortic. Bulbs, and for what? Vivosun works just as well for me for 1/3rd the cost. Thank you Vivosun (I also have 4 of their tents, 6 of their lights, I have used their trellis nets, their ballasts, all of it so far has exceeded my expectations.

These are bad ass bulbs. I’ve gone through several in the 400-1000 watt range and they all have worked perfectly. Nice spectrum with a huge spike in the yellow which makes this bulb penetrate very well (yellow and green light penetrate the most. yes, plants can use yellow and green light very efficiently). I run them about 4 months then switch em and have not had one fail yet.
Update: another very bright 600 bulb received today. Fired correctly and love the spectrum. These bulbs seriously rock.

You want this if you have a super sun series reflector/hood. It works amazing no issues. Super fast shipping, even as a virus sweeps across the country. Hats off to this company.

Update: after about 2 months of having this bulb, the lumen output has decreased weekly. I can only imagine this has a negative effect on those who do not measure lux. I bought an eye hortilux and probably won't go back. Eye hortilux put out 22,000 more lumens than this bulb did right out of the box. Overall, this bulb will work. But those serious about yield need to look into a better bulb.

Vivosun is the vest known secret when it comes to running hps lighting. I use them commercially, after being an eye hortilux customer for years. Doing a side by side with both of them, the vivosun is the closest, and a fraction of the cost. Longivity is great too, and for the price, i suggest getting extras. I saved a few thousand and my flowers were the same in vol/quality. Highly recommend.
