I really like it - except, when actually swimming, my girls tend to try to pop out the top. This wouldn't be so much of a problem except on the right side the problem is a lot worse since the nipple is a good inch higher than the other due to a lumpectomy. The size 14 would have been way too large which is why I exchanged it for this size 12. I'm not sure how to fix it except to wear a sport top under the suit. Maybe the suit is too short. Otherwise it's very nice, very well made and slimming.

This is just a great basic suit. I'm 5'6" and 130lbs and curvy. I ordered a ten. This is, surprisingly, supportive enough for a 34DD. Comfortable to swim in which is just what I was looking for and good coverage. This is the second one I have purchased, the last one is about 9 years old and still going fine!

Too short in body length

The swimsuit is high quality in materials and construction, and the style is very flattering, but, as others have noted, it is way too short in the body. Perhaps if you just want to pose for pictures or sip cocktails on a barca lounge it will work just fine. But if you plan to do more active things like, oh I don't know, SWIMMING!, then I would look at other suits or go up at least 2 sizes. I haven't bought a one piece suit in many years, but I recently started swimming laps again for exercise. The last suit I purchased about 10 years ago was also an Anne Cole, size 4, and it still fit me perfectly. The classic maillot style is very attractive on almost anyone. I wore that for a while, but the spandex/elastic eventually gave out. Since I liked it so much I thought why not get another Anne Cole. After reading the reviews about this suit being on the small side, especially in terms of body length, I decided go up one size and ordered a 6. Just to give you some perspective, I am 5'7', 135 lbs (35x27x38), and have a somewhat short waist. But the size 6 suit barely covered the length of my body. It's very figure flattering if you're just standing still, and as I said it's good quality, but way too short. Even with the straps at the longest length, if I lifted my arms above my head my chest came out. Even so I thought I would try it in the pool to see if it didn't stretch a bit when wet, but unfortunately it did not. The body is just not long enough. So I would recommend this style to petite women (maybe 5'5" and under), but if you are 5'7" or taller, or have an average or longer waist, I would not recommend it. Another thing I'm not fond of are the non-removable bra inserts. It already has a bralette built in, so those seemed unnecessary. It just creates too much fabric and thickness there.
