I really have enjoyed this game. I bought it to play on my brothers xbox in my free time when he is not hooked on playing fallout 4. But this game is really awesome, and a great improvement over the previous title. I like the new style of gameplay that they have added. Things like the new wingsuit and retractable grapple hooks and mods in the game really add to the overall experience that was already there. The graphics are also very good and this i would have to say is one of the best looking games on the xbox one so far. I also love this game because you can either follow the story line which is great, or you can can just go and blow some stuff up and relieve the stress that you did not want to take out on others throughout the day. So overall a very great game for the price i got it for, since i used my christmas gift cards from my mom i only paid 4 dollars for it, and it is worth it for that price. I don't know about paying 60 dollars for a game on my own but since it was a present from my mom i decided that i wanted to get this game, and i am glad i did. This is a great game and i think anyone can have alot of fun playing it

Seriously one of the funnest games I've ever bought. Saw this on an Amazon digital sale for less than $10 and figured I'd try it out. Wow, it's a blast (pun sort of intended). It doesn't seem to take itself TOO seriously and has some fairly comedic elements to it, but basically you get to roam all over a 3rd world country liberating it from a dictator and blowing LOTS and LOTS of stuff up. I also really like that the load times are pretty quick for this game even on a respawn. The game is not super challenging, but gives you SO much fun stuff to do and scores of hours of gameplay. I just finished it and probably have well over 100 hours. I'm also downloading the DLC stuff too because it was so good.

I bought this game because I needed a break from first person shooter style and also wanted to play something else besides GTA V and then i saw Amazon had this game on sale so i figure i'd give it a try... ever since I got it I cant stop playing it. It took me a while to get used to the button configuration. Because of this, the game did not feel as intuitive as it could have. For example after playing GTA V for so long i am already used to the button configuration and the truth is, that the button configuration is one of my favorite features on GTA V. Just Cause 3 button configuration is not dynamic, but the game itself compensates for this downfall.

It's a good game. It's a game you can stop playing and easily pick up a month down the road. Unlike some games where you feel like you have to keep playing or you'll forget what's happening or what you were doing. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that once in awhile it crashes. Which it seems it has gotten more persistent as I explore the world more. But can be fixed with a patch.

Honestly if you like blowing stuff up youll probably like it. And for $4 when I bought it, this is really good. Not to mention its super fun. Did I mention you get to blow stuff up?

So admittedly, I didn't get this game for a storyline of any sorts, I got it because I saw videos of people doing completely crazy stuff like attaching a goat to a propane tank, shooting the tank, and watching the goat blast off to the moon! Unfortunately, to me lots of this fun got old very quickly. Also, I haven't played any of the previous Just Cause games and I got this for the full $60.

I think I spent two maybe three days trying to get into it, but honestly the game is really too easy and the actual missions are extremely repetitive. To progress, the game requires you to take over different areas, but to do so you do the exact...same...thing, every...single...time...and there are sooo many areas to conquer! I maaaaybe got 10% of the game done before I was burnt out and bored. I do come back on the rare occasion to do goofy things with the physics and maybe strap a car to a helicopter or something.

As far as gameplay mechanics, I thought the game performed pretty well. The physics are really fun when messing around and creatively destroying things, but do that for a little while and it gets old, mainly because it doesn't really change. You start the game with 90% of the destructive mayhem power that you will ever get, so there just isn't a compelling reason to continue on just to get slightly better vehicle/weapon drops.

So at least for the full $60, I wouldn't recommend this game. If you could pick this up for $30 or less that would approach being a worthwhile purchase, but otherwise I would definitely rent this game or try a friends copy before you buy, because that might be all the time you need with this game before it is old.

Absolutely beautiful game. All the best parts of Just Cause 2 without many of the annoying bits. Be wary of the digital codes... the email you get from Amazon has a "redeem now" link which, when clicked, opens your web browser and automatically logs you in to your Microsoft account. This can be a problem if you have separate "work" and "game" accounts. In my case I redeemed the game code to my "work" account and no one at Microsoft nor Amazon could do anything about it. The solution was to create an Xbox profile for my work account and install the game from that profile.

Parents like me and my parents can rest easy on how easy it was to order this and then to have the person you are buying it for download it. Ordered it and was starting to down load on my sons xbox in a matter of seconds. I did have to enter the code onto his xbox account so be prepared to do that.
