    My mount has a permanent ~5 degree rotation even though the mount is level. Wouldn't matter if this was mounted in a shop or restaurant but I've mounted it at home in a loft condo and not being able to "lock" the swivel is really disappointing. Speaking of which all the joints are really difficult to hold steady. I can place a hand on the tv and push it around in place, which will probably destroy the mounting over time. They instruct to install these plastic washers on every joint but I ended up removing them because metal on metal produces a MUCH better lock. With the plastic washers even if bolts are completely tight the mount will still move out of place. So I am kind of confused why they are even there.

    I bought it to be adjustable, but the adjustable part is a just a bolt I have to remove to reposition up or down which also contributes to the lack of stability.

    The material of the mount however is solid enough, so no complaints there.

    The top ceiling joint can't be tightened enough to not move (which makes mounting hard). The mounting mechanism is also just ok - have used mounts with bigger, easier to place hooks. The tilt mechanism also only goes in on direction and is difficult to tighten enough to make it not move. On top of that, every single joint has enough play that it's difficult to get the TV in the exact position you want (ours drifts backwards, and twists slightly clockwise in both directions.

    Oh and despite the listing saying it mounts to different materials, it only includes hardware for stone/brick/concrete and not wood. Needed to go buy lag screws for wood ceiling joists.

    I found this to be exactly as advertised. I have a high sloped ceiling and a brick wall above the fireplace. I didnt want to put a 50" TV on the brick wall so this was a great option. It was easy to put up, took under 2 hrs. Looks great hanging above my fire place. It doesn't swivel but can be adjusted up or down and angled down. Very happy with this product.

    Purchased this to hang a 50” tv in front of a picture window. Once assembled and installed the angle that is set both on the base attached to the ceiling and on the tv mount both drift. Despite the plastic washers being basically squeezed out due to the pressure on the locking mechanism.
    The assembly is difficult with the cupped washers to go against the tubes and needing to remove the tubes to get wiring fed up the tubes.
    Sturdy enough to safely hold my 60lb Plasma but not enough to hold the angles set.
