The cable was purchased for use in a camping minivan to run from cellular router/modem to area where laptop is used. So that when a hardwire network connection is preferred/needed over the WiFi connection I was ready. The original path of wiring dictated 20' cable however since the initial setup additional needs have arisen (another fan unit) thus the network cable was rerouted and now only need 15' cable. Since hiding 5' of extra cable is not easy in cramped minivan just bought another cable. IMPRESSED by how well made the cable was. Note: due to the shielding in the cable it is a bit thicker than those without.

We've been running a 20 year old CAT 5E cable from our modem in our office to our wireless router more toward the center of our house.
