Since trying to eat an anti-fungal type diet, I have been trying a couple of different brands of Quinoa. I have found this brand to be much better than NOW brand. This brand doesn't have that slight bitter flavor. It cooks up wonderfully in my rice cooker too.

This is a nice clean product. After rinsing well, there is no bitter taste. I, unfortunately, discovered an allergy to this but by only buying the one bag, I lost little on it. I didn't know that Quinoa was so tiny and that it would have all those little semi-circle pieces after cooking. The little one at the table thought they were worms and had to be convinced to try it. He likes it, though, so is a good alternative food source. The seeds are very, very tiny, but are easy to chew so you know you are getting a mouthful if you have never tried it. They look clear after cooking, but don't give the same feel as tapioca, which was my biggest fear after seeing it. It stays firm after cooking so that it is more like rice, but about a third the size of rice.
