It's engineered for superior comfort, with an extra-volume construction for a relaxed fit and a padded collar. An extended heel counter provides all-day support, while the removable Poliyou air insole provides cushioning, along with moisture- and odor-absorption. The EVA orthotic is removable for customization, but fastens with hook-and-loop tape for stable wear.

Considering the price is about half of any other listing, these sandals are ok. From the outside they look great, but the inside stitching is a bit wonky, and they cut the seams inside rather badly. I do wonder how long they will last. But I needed removable footbeds and the price was right!The fit is true to size.

This is the second pair of these sandals I have purchased. The first ones have worn so well (I have worn and worn them for the past five years), I decided to purchase a second pair while I can still get them. They are comfortable right out of the box and do run a little small (I take a 7 in these whereas I wear 6.5 in other shoes). I love the comfort of the padded collar around the heel as well as the insole. The velcro adjustable straps are so convenient for quick adjustments as feet swell during the day or simply getting them on faster when I'm in a hurry. The soles have incredible grip on all surfaces making them as safe as my hiking boots are on rough terrain or wet conditions; I have never slipped when wearing them. I even wear them year round; outside in warmer months and inside with polar fleece socks in the winter! Never have I owned as comfortable, versatile sandals as these are for they look as good with skirts and dresses as jeans or slacks. I highly recommend them!

I am a senior and have used this sandal for about 20 years. Have bought at least 6 pairs over those years. The closed full heel makes the sandals feel safe as well as comfortable. Comes in a range of sizes and widths. As the shoe gets older the velcro on the straps sometimes does not stick together but it still works most of the time. In the past I have tried to find another manufacturer of closed full heel sandals in hopes I could find one that didn't look as "heavy" but to this day I can't find any except Propet that will provide the safety and comfort I want.

I have a problem post-op foot and I was looking for summer sandals. I purchased these because Propet advertised the inner foot bed was removable and you could substitute your own orthotic. Excellent design on foot bed with minor Velcro on toe and heel so removal/reinsertion was easy. My full foot orthotic was slightly shorter than the foot bed but usable. By the end of the day when my foot was more swollen, I was glad for the extra toe room. (still within sandal) I tried these around the house, using socks, for several days. They are well made, Velcro straps allowed for plenty of adjustment. My post-op left foot/ankle is larger (swollen) and it was great to be able to adjust both right and left as needed. The enclosed heel is quite supportive of the ankle area. I decided my post-op foot required even more support and stability than this sandal could provide. Amazon made the return process very easy. Follow the prompts on your account page to receive a QRC code which I took with my original packaging to a nearby UPS store which will do the final packaging to return to Amazon. If you need this sort of orthotic friendly sandal, you should try it. There is no way to know from reviews if this is right for you.

I was so excited to find these for my Mom she wears an 8.5 xx-wide. Everything was perfect, but the strap closest to the ankle. The velcro placement wasn't for a wide foot. It could probably be moved but I wasn't prepared to pay a shoe repair shop $40 bucks to move/replace it after already spending $100 on the shoe. Hopefully the designer takes note. Sad I had to return because the rest of the shoe was perfect!

My 92-year-old mother is still living independently and is very spry -- relies on walking with her walker for exercise. In the past couple of years, she has experienced issues with gout in her big toe knuckle on one foot and on the other foot her big toe is beginning to lift and "cross-over" the toe next to it. When ordered at a great price, I expected a typical double width (WW) shoe, but it was a 4E (XX) width, which was quite wide across the foot bed area, I never expected to get to use them. Later, as I continued to experience swollen feet, I developed lymphedema in my ankles, feet, and legs, so ended up having to get special leg wraps and support stocking liners to wear when travelling or standing for long periods. These shoes were ideal to wear with my new stocking items and even complemented the beige colour exactly! I was surprised when they even had enough strap length to close the velcro exactly where it was designed to fasten (instead of being too short to fasten across swollen feet). Had I not had these shoes on hand, I'm not sure what I would have used for footwear going to physio each day! With the back heel support, I find that they're a sturdy walking shoe for use with my cane or walker. I'd highly recommend them to others. Just be sure to order the right size/width unless you need bigger because you're having a similar problem finding comfortable shoes, as I did. Now, my only problem will be what to do when winter weather moves in??
