I was really looking forward for these shoes to arrive after my Rockports blew out after only a year, with the sole tearing away from the toe box on the left shoe. I was even more looking forward after learning that my father has a pair of old Propét boots that he absolutely loves!

When I first put the shoes on, they felt a bit narrow—enough that I contacted the company about how they sized their shoes, asking if I should have bought a wider pair. (They size their shoes according to the Brannock device found in most shoe stores.) Fortunately, though, after two days of breaking the shoes in, they fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable.

Since I have at least a quarter-mile walk on concrete and asphalt between my car and the office building where I work, I need shoes that can cushion my feet. Though it's only been about 10 days since they arrived, these shoes do the job very well, and I'm very happy that I found them! I'm hopeful, considering my father's experience with his Propét boots, that these shoes will last a long time.

I have some New Balance running shoes that are 11.5 4E and some old Nunn Bush Victor's, same size. I ordered this in the 11.5 4E and it was way too long. I returned it for an 11 4E ... that was too short and too narrow. What the heck???

The shoes seem quite nice, but I dunno where they get these size claims. Totally off in my experience.

Initially when I received these, I was disappointed. I instantly thought how cheap looking they were. The marbled grain leather is not the most attractive, and the plasticky feel and look reminds you of the low price. The fit right off the bat was tight, uh oh, I thought, these are too small! But, this was resolved after a couple days of wear because the flimsy top started to break in and loosen up and now they fit just perfect, snug enough when there is no slippage, but pliable to where they slip-off fairly easy without bending down to use your hands. Again the plasticky feel and look does not make this the best office shoes, but the comfort level of these are very high. The soles are a dream of pillowy comfort. Very good at cushioning and making your feet feel like walking on air. However, I also can see that these soles might not last very long after continous usage. As soft and pliable as they are, durability might become an issue. I find these too be a very good choice for those desiring a comfortable shoe to walk around in, especially in wet, rainy conditions as the sole and materials are designed for this. You can wear these if your office environment leans more toward casual attire, or consider wearing these for the commute and then change out shoes at the office. Overall, these are good shoes value wise. Very low priced and extremely comfortable for the casual attire, but lacking the look as far as durability. Who knows, I will update these perhaps after 6 months of wear, but I would suggest getting two pairs of these, which would add up to the price of 1 pair of competing brands.

Propet makes some of the most comfortable shoes, especially if you suffer from any kind of foot or knee problems like I do. I am a big and tall guy and these are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've worn yet, including my other shoes from the Propet line. I wear these in a professional dress-casual work environment. I also wear, from the Propet line, the Commuterlite, Wash and Wear Slip-on, and Stability Walker sneakers. All great shoes . . . but these Propet Cruz slip ons are so comfortable, I'd almost rather wear THEM for walking then the Propet Stability Walker sneakers I usually wear for walking.
