I am a size 8 1/2 — 9 with a very narrow foot. The 8 1/2 was too small. Ordering the 9. Frye, depending on the make of the boot, can vary a bit, but out of owning 9 pairs over the past 10+ years, it has never varied a full size. Those with narrower feet will find heel slippage (typical of a heavier boot) that can be remedied with a heel pad or thicker socks. This has never bothered me enough to do either. I recommend you ordering your TRUE size. I’ve only ever ordered down a HALF size on one pair and that was a motorcycle boot with an insanely heavy heel and I ordered down to choose a tighter toe box over heel slippage.
