I loved these shoes for so long on line and then I finally decided to get them. I ordered down a half size because I read some reviews that said they ran big. But these were very long when I was sitting down and my foot went out to the end once I stood up. I believe it is because it doesn't have much arch support. Vionic shoes have you order down because they have good arch support and your foot doesn't flatten out. I suppose knowing this, when my foot did extend to the end of the shoe when standing up make me realize there wasn't any arch support. Too bad because I really loved these sandals for a really long time before I bought them. They had to go back.

I have a narrow/medium size 8/12 to 9 sized foot -with high arches. This is why this shoe is a tad wide for me but not overly so. The arch support is fine but my arches are high so I might need a little more. I thought I may have to sacrifice style but NOT SO! They look fantastic on and are VERY comfortable --except for the first day I wore them my heels were sore by the end of the day. I found this extremely weird because there are nice built-in heel pads. After that first wear, all was fine for all-day wearing. They dress up or down quite well.
