The look and fit of this shoe was fine. However, there seemed to be some sort of suction action going on under the heel when walking, at least in the pair that I received. The front of both shoes also seemed to be catching or flipping, so that I seemed as if I was going to trip and fall. Never had shoes act this way when walking. Maybe it's just me, but I can't take any chances on falling.

This is hard to review because I'm returning them, but at the same time, I could also recommend them depending upon your needs. I needed something a little dressy and thought the patent would provide that, but they were a little to bulky looking on my feet for the particular outfit I was planning to wear. However, if the look works for you, then I think they are good shoes. The reason I chose to give them 4 stars is because compared to typical sandals, the foot bed is MUCH more comfortable, but what stopped me from giving them 5 stars was the lack of stronger arch support. If you suffer from plantar fasciitis, Vionic and Aetrex have better arch support. If you just want better than usual overall comfort provided by rigid and unsupportive sandals, these would fit the bill. Each strap is adjustable to you can get the right fit. With a little stronger arch support I would have kept them anyway.
