Superb shoes! I am a huge fan of canvas sneakers; I have more pairs than I care to admit in an array of colors that even Bob Ross (may he rest in peace) would envy. I was a Converse man for many years, but after buying my first pair of PF Flyers, they have become my daily shoe and I've never looked back. Don't get me wrong I still love my All-Stars, but for roughly the same price the PF Flyers are simply a better shoe. They're more comfortable, have more support, look and feel more solid, and just stay looking better longer than the Converse. Converse tend to break down and feel thin over time, and the sole starts to "curl". Never had this issue with the PFs. If you like canvas sneakers, these are the king. You may not run faster or jump higher, but your feet will thank you. Just buy them already. You won't be disappointed.

For the uninitiated let me introduce you to the killer app of canvas shoes. Forget Chuck's, forget the Ked's Pro Royals because the PFs are where its at. Heaver canvas, better stitching and better rubber is what you get for less than what Chuck's will set you back. I wore Chuck's for over 10 years religiously and switched a few years ago when Nike took over and a basic pair of All Stars started going for what a pair a Nike's go for. I got this particular pair to replace my old pair of High Top PFs that are my gym shoes. The last pair finally started showing their 3 years of age with the only thing fraying was the racing stripe on the back and the eyelets started to warp. But I squatted many a 400 pound load and dead lifted even more in these for hours and hours each week. I probably could have gotten a few more years out of them but what the hay. You also get a wider toe box with PFs versus Chuck's and as with all canvas shoes little to no arch support but that is preferred for dead lifting (I am from the West Side School of flat weight lifting shoes). So get a pair they are great.

These shoes are great! I have wide feet and could never fit into Converse All Stars, but these are wide enough to fit comfortably. I ordered the same size I wear in Nike and they fit well. I may have been able to go a half size smaller. As others have mentioned, they are a little wide in the heel bed. These are a great casual shoe that have the look I was going for.

I am a womens approx. 9.5 and I ordered these in a womens 10 mens 8.5 and they were huge so I will return and order a size down to mens 7.5 women 9 and see if that works! But I love the quality and look of this shoe and I also wear converse and MAY like these a little better. Time will tell.

I guess the PFs run a full size smaller than converse, id say they are the same size run as vans eras or slipons

My foot fit into the shoe but not comfortably at all. I wear 9.5 in vans Slipons, and 8.5 in converse, Id definitely order 9.5 in these PFs if I were to try again.

Really can't get much better than PF Flyers for the price. The does does run slightly narrow but my foot is wider than average. I wear a size 12 for most shoes that fit true-to-size, and a 13 for anything on the small side. I went with the 13 and it fit perfectly. I've gotten tons of compliments but once I mention the Sandlot, everyone wants to know where to get themselves a pair.
