Product Description

The Orbit Plastic Impact Sprinkler on Zinc Spike is an exceptional value, and ideal for watering large areas. Designed for dependability, impact heads have an uninterrupted water flow and are clog-resistant, even when used with dirty or reclaimed water from ponds and canals. Attached to a zinc spike, this sprinkler sprays up to a 90-ft. diameter. Easily adjust the coverage from a partial section to a full circle. Features a deflector shield for distance adjustment, and an anti-backsplash arm to aid in spray pattern and area coverage. A simple twist of the diffuser screw breaks up the water stream, creating larger or smaller water droplets. The flow-through outlet allows you to connect multiple sprinklers to expand your watering areas depending on water pressure. The lightweight, plastic construction is high-impact resistant and durable, providing years of reliable watering use.

This works ok, but it is way, way too fast. It spins around so fast it's like a child's toy sprinkler, which causes it to fling water where we don't want it. No way to adjust the speed. We need a steady, normal stream of water, not water being flung all over the place. Plus, no difference between the minimum and maximum stream setting, so you can't control the distance the water goes. Bought multiple and they all do it, so it's not that we got a broken one, this is just how they're designed. Getting rid of them to buy normal, slower sprinklers that are easier to control and actually have a working minimum to maximum setting.

I have had these for two years and use them when needed. I also put them into pvc pipes to lift them up a bit for a better coverage. Never had a problem with them. I could never find them at my local hardware. they would be sold out before I would look for them.

These are like sprinklers on crack, to start with - they move SO fast there is hardly time for it to water well, they are cheap plastic and the part that enables it to be set for back/forth gets stuck between the other parts and literally these are garbage. Spend your money on other sprinklers. They were absolutely a waste of money. I won't ever buy again.
