Very cute on. One thing to keep in mind. Its NOT intended for shorter people. Its meant for a taller frame. I am not short......almost 5'5" and an xs. My daughter could wear this in her size at 5'9" and the hips would hit exactly right. Where its supposed to hit the top of the hip...sort of hits about 2 inches below on me. It still looks great and thankfully I have a seamstress that is more than happy to correct small things like that for me. I mean, hello, I paid a dime((figuratively speaking) for this dress....it was definitely worth it.
I was planning to wear this dress as a costume so I didn't really mind the quality of the fabric. Would never ever wear this if it were a dress for an event. The fabric is fairly cheap looking. But the most disappointing aspect of this dress is that the sizing is way, way off.
I am debating whether I will keep this dress or not. I love the dress it's just that in no way does this dress look green. It looks blue to me. Because the color dress I wanted was green and this dress looks blue that is the only reason I give it 3 stars. Believe me the dress is no way the color green shown.
I am very pleased with this surprisingly comfortable dress. The fabric is a cotton/poly midweight t-shirt fabric. I wear a US 10/12 and, following the chart, ordered XXL. Even though I am a B-40 and the chart states XXL is B-39, the dress fits perfectly and is not too tight nor too loose. The skirt falls just above my knees (I am 5'6.5") and is a bit straighter at the knees on me than is depicted in the manufacturer's image.
The few wrinkles steam out very easily. The tag recommends washing dark colors separately. As it is not the most expensive dress fabric in the world, I washed it on Cold/Gentle with Woolite Dark and laid it flat to dry.
I can barely believe how comfortable the dress is to wear straight out of the package! It is like wearing a comfy dorm shirt!
The dress is horrible and cheaply made. I ordered a small and still fits really big. I'm not small by any means but for some reading this dress did not fit
