I really love these shoes and they are completely comfortable but after only 5 months of use the stitching is coming loose on the top of the shoe. I would have expected them to last me longer than this. I have worn them walking and hiking. The rest of the shoes are perfect, only dirty from use.

There is a difference of opinion in sizing. I am a true size 10 womens. The first pair I ordered was just a bit short in the length. I sent those back and ordered the 11's. Fit is much better. They are a bit loose, but nothing a thicker sock won't fix. These shoes are incredibly light weight yet sturdy. They breathe well and offer good support. I am so pleased I found these shoes on Amazon. My Nike's were just not cutting the trail hiking I use the shoes for. Also, the Merrell's offer great traction on slippery or uneven surfaces.
Finally, I will always check to see if this seller, Wolverine Worldwide, has what I want in stock before I look any where else. Their prices, customer service and shipping times are phenomenal.

Bought these on a recommendation from a friend who had worn his down to an uncomfortable slant (he needs to fix his gait and walk correctly). I had recently taken up running after a knee blowout that left me limping in braces for 6 weeks. With a history of bad knees in my family, I did my own physical therapy at home and got myself back together...and then vowed to make sure it wouldn't happen again. At least not like that.

As a kid and even now, in my early 20s, I would often twist my knees and my ankles just walking. After I got myself back in reasonable shape, I bought a cheap pair of light running shoes to strengthen my leg muscles and train my body to walk/run with a correct gait.

My love of the woods took me to trail running but my cheap pair were definitely starting to cause issues. Blisters, soreness, etc. I definitely knew something was up and it wasn't me. So my friend suggested the Merrells. My feet were in heaven the second I put them on.

I bought these specifically because they weren't too overkill if I wanted to run on pavement, but they still gave me the traction and support I needed on the trail. The wide toe area is a godsend. My toes can comfortably stretch out as I land and if I need to wear toe separators to prevent blistering, there's no squishing.

They've broken in extremely well and I'm definitely going back to Merrell for another pair when these go into retirement.

The shoe was a bit too small and that caused it to wear out prematurely. BUT even though it was too small the shoe was still comfortable for most of the time. Great arch and ankle support. The style is pleasing to the eye. These shoes are hard to slip in unless on ice of course- The shoe is "waterproof" and does keep out a lot which is really nice. I wore these for work mostly and I work 12 hour shifts in a hospital and my feet felt pretty good about it. Now, I will purchase again just buy a half a size bigger than original purchase.

I love these shoes. Unfortunately they were falling apart after 3 mo. wearing them to work as CNA. Well, maybe they were not made for that. So if I were say, a cashier these may be money well spent. But squatting to dress people all day and showering them makes the glue come apart. Still my absolute favorite fitting shoe so airy and light and yet supportive as hell. Don't be alarmed by how tiny they look when you get them. the heel is very supportive, the arch is pretty high but not overly and the toes, well this my friend is the best part. I have a medium width food so a lot of shoes are to narrow for me. These are nice and spacious. The size was perfect I wear a 7.5- sometimes 8 7.5 fit like a glove, except the toes of course.

I rotate my (healthy) shoes often as this is a good thing to do, but also helps my feet not to hurt. I also like the look, color, style and get compliments on them as well. They just fit and feel so much better than the major top brand tennis shoes that I wear. Lightweight for summer too, and I am sure I can wear these without socks. I LOVE these shoes. I have a really hard time finding shoes that fit me. There is a whole size difference between my feet, I have really high arches, my feet are wide but my heels are normal width, I have a bunion, etc. I ordered them online, something I never do with shoes and was crossing my fingers they'd fit. I normally take out the insole and put my custom orthodics in my shoes. When they arrived, there was no insole. I was certain that wouldn't work. Much to my surprise, however, they fit like a glove. Initially, I thought they were small but they literally fit snuggly on your foot like a glove. When you lace them up, there is support everywhere you need it. They're super lightweight also. I was able to walk my dogs four miles in them after wearing them all day the very first day I had them. Will be buying more just like them. Most comfortable shoe I've ever owned.
