Lots of pockets, 6 in all not including hand warmer. Nice color, very dark blue. This is my second Columbia jacket (also have the Hazen model) and they are nice for the money. This one fits well, keep in mind it is a heavier jacket and the range of motion (especially moving arms around) is a bit less than in lighter models. Machine washable. I like this coat a lot and would recommend it for commuter use in cold weather.

This coat has done well down to about -5F. Lots of pockets outside and a couple interior. Snap-on hood is roomy. Outer shell is soft and should be relatively durable. Have not tested the water resistance. If there are any digs to date, the main zipper could be a bit more heavy duty and the hood could have a zipper in addition to the snaps for greater windproofing. The received color was a slightly ligher shade than appeared in the catalog.
