Fit was perfect (size 11). These look sharp with jeans and are very comfortable once broken in (took 10 days for me). Still on the fence with the sock insert, it's a PITA to get these on without loosening the laces considerably. On the plus side the sock will keep things like small rocks/debris out of your shoe.

The only reason that I gave these shoes 4 stars is because they have a piece in the back that stretches over your heel and after wearing for a while, they kind of rub and make the back of your foot sore. Besides that, I love them. I just make sure not to wear them for long periods of time to make sure I don't get a blister.

I own one pair of SM oxfords that suit me well for how little I wear them. I will say that these are very attractive looking chukkas, pleasantly surprised by the construction on these. One of the boots came with a slight stitching error (just on the front of the boat near the toe) but its hardly noticeable and other than that Im very pleased with the shoe. The lining of the boot gives it a good construction but does make your foot heat up a little faster than in a boot without such a lining. However the lining keeps your foot from sliding around and also keeps the boot upper from appearing collapsed or worn.

Update: after closer inspection the quality of the stitching done on the left boot is like a blind person did it. The inside and the foot bed just looks sloppy, I'm returning because of my dissatisfaction with the quality difference, if I could replicate my left boot that'd be great but unfortunately I can't.

Started off as a 5 star but lost 2 stars which is a shame cause its a nice looking boot.
